Readers, friends, and other horndogs Is there anyone else who finds it difficult to accept that Bridgerton is still in the same season? Do you recall the balloon mishap? This season, that was! Lord Debling? It was this season for him! Don’t Penelope and Colin seem like very different people from the ones they were fighting outside of Lady Danbury’s opening event of the year? And this third season’s back half has seen so much narrative development that I’m exhausted! But you know, in a nice, fulfilling, I’m craving a cigarette kind of way? Just this episode has so many amazing moments, and by amazing I mean that they are really interesting to watch and provide a tonne of fantastic character development, particularly for our main couple. Babes, gird your loins.
Penelope Is Lady Whistledown, As Colin Is Aware.
Since we discovered that Pen was Whistledown, we have been waiting for this encounter, and Bridgerton doesn’t hesitate to cause us pain at this precise moment. We’re back in the alley, where Colin discovers, inconsolably, Pen conversing Whistledown to the printer. I adore how deeply they are addressing so many different emotions at once in this piece. In addition to being visibly upset at the falsehoods and what she wrote under the guise of Whistledown, Colin is crying! You can already see that he is really depressed and that he will later use the word embarrassed.
The fact that he finally acknowledged that the reason she has been bothered and upset for the entire time is because he has felt so “undeserving” of her crushes my heart. Our guy was terrified he would lose Pen since she had decided he wasn’t worthy of her! Although I am aware of his current pain, it is shocking to hear that the season’s top prospect, Pen, has been tormented by doubts over his eligibility for the team. Colin seems to have a lot of insecurities to work through as well, despite the fact that so much of the attention has been on Penelope this season as she gains confidence and musters the strength to move away from the wall although insecurity isn’t trendy.
Colin then turns to leave and says, “I’ll never forgive you,” and it hurts a thousand times more than if he had screamed it.
Eloise To Choose Her Brother Or Her Best Friend?
Nobody can just get out of this situation. Eloise is unable to soothe Colin when Penelope informs her that he is aware of this and turns to her. She isn’t ready to forgive Pen just yet, and she doesn’t want to become involved with her brother in this, but she does feel some sympathy for Pen and is maybe touched by Penelope’s assertion that Eloise is her best friend. Here, Penelope is by herself. Colin is not comforted by Eloise’s responses when he questions her about how long she has known.
