Congresswoman Supriya Shrinate started a debate on Monday when she posted a picture of Kangana Ranaut on Instagram. The BJP then demanded that the head of the grand old party’s social media account be fired right away for the “disgusting comment.” The offensive captioned post that used Kangana’s photo has subsequently been removed.
Kangana Ranaut’s Befitting Reply
In addition, Kangana Ranaut, the BJP candidate for the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, attacked Shrinate. She claims that all women should be treated with respect and that she has portrayed several different characters in films.
“Hello, Supriya ji. Throughout the previous 20 years of my artistic work, I have portrayed a wide range of ladies, from a prostitute in Rajjo to a revolutionary leader in Thalaivii, from a naive girl in Queen to a seductive spy in Dhaakad, from a goddess in Manikarnika to a demon in Chandramukhi,” Ranaut said in a post on X.
“We must free our daughters from the shackles of prejudice; we must rise above the curiosity about their body parts and above all, we must refrain from using sex workers’ challenging lives or circumstances as some kind of abuse or slur. Every woman deserves her dignity,” she added.
BJP Leaders Comment On The Supriya Shrinate Controversy
Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, ought to take harsh measures against Shrinate, according to Malviya, who oversees the BJP’s national information and technology department.
In an Instagram post, Supriya Shrinate of the Congress makes a crude remark against Kangana Ranaut. One cannot help but wonder how Congress manages to gather so much filth in one location since it is so revolting. The head of the BJP’s IT division, Malviya, wrote on X, “If Kharge has any say in the party, he needs to fire her right away or step down.”
Shehzad Poonawalla described Shrinate’s remarks as disgusting.”Supriya Shrinate’s remarks on the Kangana team are abhorrent! ought to be fired right away. Would Priyanka Gandhi take a stand? Will you fire her, Kharge Ji? Now, where is the lobby for “Hathras“? He stated on X, “First they justified Sandeshkhali, then Lal Singh receiving a ticket from the Congress, and now this.”
Supriya Shrinate Gives An Explanation
In an explanation on X, Shrinate, the head of Congress’s social media and digital platforms, stated that anyone familiar with her would know that she would never say that about a woman. Shrinate said that her accounts were accessed by someone.
“My Instagram and Facebook meta accounts were accessed by someone who made an extremely offensive and repulsive post, which has since been removed. Knowing me, you know that I would never say it to a woman. But the whole mess started on Twitter with a spoof account that I just found out was using my name; it’s being reported,” the woman stated.
Additionally, Supriya made note of the fact that similar remarks had previously been made from her account. “This is not the first time that this has occurred. In the past, a lot of perplexing remarks have also been made in my name. I’m also going to close this account. However, I want to be quite clear that I object to personal remarks. I support fighting ideologies, but I can’t use derogatory language toward women,” she declared.
