Finally, the Mahindra Thar Roxx has been unveiled, and the firm has provided some clear information about the SUV. Prices ex-showroom start at ₹ 12.99 lakh. The top-spec trim’s sticker price in the 4×4 configuration is still hidden, though. The domestic SUV manufacturer has confirmed that details won’t be released until closer to delivery. In addition, the business will begin offering test drives of the 2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx on September 14 and will open reservations on October 3. Regarding delivery, Mahindra will begin delivering the cars to clients by Dussehra.
Mahindra Thar Roxx: Variants And Pricing
There will be numerous trim levels for the Thar Roxx, including MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3, AX5, and AX7. However, Mahindra has only revealed the costs of a few trims of the petrol and diesel versions.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Dimensions And Colors
The length, breadth, and height of the Mahindra Thar Roxx are 4,428 mm, 1,870 mm, and 1,923 mm, respectively. The front and rear wheel tracks measure 1,580 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,850 mm. The Thar has a 447L boot space in addition to a 57L fuel tank. 36.1 degrees, 23.9 degrees, and 41.7 degrees are the approach, break over, and departure angles, respectively. It also claims to have a water-wading depth of 650 mm.
For the Thar Roxx, the automaker is offering a total of seven color options: Nebula, Battleship Grey, Deep Forest, Tango Red, Everest White, and Burnt Sienna. A black-painted roof complements each of these paint jobs.
Speaking of features, the Thar Roxx has a 360-degree parking camera, powered seats, two sunroof options, a 10.25-inch infotainment unit, a 60:40 rear split, connected car technology, Level-2 ADAS, acoustic glasses, and a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Offroad assistance including crawl control, intelligent turn assist, and adjustable terrain control modes are also included.
Engine Options
There are two engine options for the Roxx: a 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol and a 2.2L mHawk turbo-diesel. There are two transmission options available for these: 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT. Additionally, there are many tuning states available for these engine selections. With the manual gearbox, the turbo-petrol can produce up to 330 Nm of maximum torque and 162 horsepower at its highest power output. However, when an automatic is used, the maximum outputs increase to 177 horsepower and 380 torque. Turning now to the oil burner, the stick shift version produces a rated output of 152 horsepower and 330 torque, while the automatic transmission increases these figures to 175 horsepower and 370 torque.
