5 People Lose Lives To The Lucknow Building Collapse
Officials claim that at the time of the collapse, work was being done in the basement of the building. According to GS Naveen Kumar, the UP relief commissioner, 24 people were hurt in the event and are receiving medical attention at a nearby hospital. Apollo Hospital has been recommended for one of the injured.
Arun Sonkar (28), Dheeraj Gupta (48), and Pankaj Tiwari (40) have been named as three of the five deceased. Two of the deceased’s identities are still unknown.
The structure, called the Harmilap Building, served as a godown for the pharmaceutical industry. It happened about five o’clock in the evening.
The Relief Teams And Medics
Teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are on site, together with local firefighters and police officers.
According to Relief Commissioner GS Naveen Kumar, workers from the NDRF and SDRF are attempting to free the ensnared people.
“UP CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the building collapse incident in Transport Nagar, Lucknow,” his office wrote on X.
“The chief minister has directed the district administration officials, SDRF, and NDRF teams to reach the site and expedite the relief work, ensuring that the injured are immediately taken to the hospital for proper treatment. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured
