PM Modi Oath-Taking Ceremony Live: President Droupadi Murmu will give PM Narendra Modi the oath of office during a lavish ceremony. Before the big ceremony, he had a meeting at his house with the incoming ministers and allies.
Today, members of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new cabinet will also take an oath of office. Since Jawaharlal Nehru, the Congress icon, had served three terms as prime minister, he will be the first. Following an exhausting 11-hour meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence yesterday, the decisions on the new cabinet were made. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to occur in Delhi’s Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Rashtrapati Bhawan, where President Droupadi Murmu will bestow the oath of office, has three layers of protection in place. Authorities added that because Delhi is still on high alert for the event, commandos from the NSG and SWAT sections of the Delhi Police have been stationed around the venue and other key areas.
For the next few days, the use of aerial platforms such as drones, paragliders, remotely piloted aircraft, and hot air balloons is prohibited in the national capital, which has been declared a no-fly zone by the police.
As part of India’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy, leaders from surrounding nations such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius, and Seychelles, along with the Maldives, are anticipated to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Special routes will be assigned for the dignitaries to take from their lodgings to the venue and back.

I will watch the event on TV, but I am unable to go in person due to my fragile condition. Regardless of what the Congress may claim, Indian democracy is strong.”
BJP Leader Runs Away After Getting Hit by Traffic on His Way Home
Ravneet Singh Bittu, the leader of the Punjab BJP, was determined not to be late for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official residence in central Delhi today. However, he was slowed down by the traffic in the capital of the country.
Soon after, he exited his car and began running down the street while security followed behind. Images of Mr. Bittu sprinting through a traffic circle before going inside PM Modi’s official residence have gone viral on social media. He told NDTV, “One should never be late,” and said he chose to get down and run rather than stand in line because he saw that more leaders were approaching.
