Royal Enfield presented the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 at a Barcelona-based event, their newest offering. Based on the Himalayan 450 platform, this new motorcycle comes in three competitively priced models, with prices starting at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorbike joins a fiercely competitive mid-sized motorcycle market that is controlled by major competitors like as the Hero Mavrick 440, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Triumph Speed 400, and Harley-Davidson X440.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Availability And Price
Royal Enfield makes its entry into the sub-500cc street naked motorcycle market with the Guerrilla 450. Bookings are already being accepted for the official debut in Barcelona, Spain, and availability at Royal Enfield showrooms across the country is anticipated shortly.
The Himalayan 450 and the Guerrilla 450 both use the same sturdy Sherpa 450 cc engine. Priced at ex-showroom at Rs 2.39 lakh, Rs 2.49 lakh, and Rs 2.54 lakh, respectively, the Analogue, Dash, and Flash variants are available.
Design And Variants
The Guerrilla, which has a modern-retro roadster design motif, is distinguished by its circular headlamp, streamlined teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and understated tail section. It has a steel tube frame, front forks that are 43 mm telescopic and have 140 mm of travel, and a rear mono-shock system that has 150 mm of travel.
It comes in three variants: Analogue (Smoke and Playa Black), Dash (Playa Black and Gold Dip), and Flash (Yellow Ribbon and Brava Blue). Each version offers five color possibilities.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Specifications
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 guarantees steady handling thanks to its 17-inch alloy wheels, 120/70 section front tires, and 160/60 section rear tires. A 270 mm vented disc with a single-piston caliper at the back and a 310 mm ventilated disc with a double-piston caliper at the front control the braking system.
The motorcycle has dimensions of 2090 mm in length, 833 mm in width, 1125 mm for height, and 1440 mm for wheelbase. It has LED headlights, indicators, and taillights and weighs 186 kg (fuel and oil included). With dual-channel ABS, media controls, smartphone connectivity, Google Maps navigation, and a USB type-C port, the 4.0-inch circular TFT display has it all.
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla’s 452 cc single-cylinder DOHC engine, which runs on liquid cooling, produces 40.02 PS at 8000 RPM and 40 NM of torque at 5500 RPM. It has a slip-and-assist clutch and a 6-speed gearbox to provide a smooth ride.
Building upon the success of the Himalayan platform, the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 seeks to draw riders with its blend of contemporary amenities and strong performance.
