Today, May 28, marks the premiere of the third season of the widely watched blockbuster online series Panchayat on Amazon Prime. The film “Panchayat,” which was directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, follows the life of a young man from Delhi who works as a secretary in a Panchayat office in a distant Uttar Pradesh village. Neena Gupta, Jitendra Kumar, Biswapati Sarkar, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, and Faisal Malik are among the cast members of the series.

The Upcoming Season
For all of the lovers of Panchayat, there is exciting news: the production team has officially announced that work on season 4 has already begun. There are already three or four episodes written. The Panchayat series’ director revealed that it will last five seasons.
The director stated that staying loyal to the core of the show is crucial while discussing the strategy for the next season. “We made sure that we made the right content and retained the core soul of the show. We wanted to take the story forward organically. However, we have to make sure that the new season is more entertaining and emotional,” Kumar added.
