Gurucharan Singh’s Unpaid Debts
Due to his father’s medical issues, Gurucharan Singh, who was most known for portraying Roshan Singh Sodhi on “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” left the show. Like other performers who quit, he had problems with unpaid dues. Following Jennifer Mistry’s accusation of sexual harassment against program producer Asit Modi, TMKOC courted media attention. Only after this dispute was resolved were Gurucharan’s debts paid.
According to an article in ETimes, the judge mandated that Modi settle Jennifer’s unpaid debts and give her an extra Rs 5 lakh in compensation. “The ruling supports my claims, which I supported with substantial proof. This result exceeds what the police have accomplished in the last year,” she informed the newspaper.
